Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Episodes_1_and_2_(Inhumans) a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Inhumans: The First Chapter. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. DC Extended Universe

[edit]

Stop moving categories. It requires a discussion at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion. Also note WP:COMMONNAME. PrimeHunter (talk) 18:03, 30 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop these undiscussed mass changes. DC Extended Universe may be unofficial but it's the WP:COMMONNAME, and I have seen no official source making it clear whether "Justice League Universe" is official about a film series or just a text displayed on some tv special long ago. You can start a requested move disussion at Talk:DC Extended Universe. If there is consensus to move the main article then other moves will probably follow. PrimeHunter (talk) 18:21, 30 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, sorry, didn't mean to offend anyone. The way I worked was to edit all of those pages at the same time, and for the last ten minutes all I've been doing is click save (no mouse here). I gave my reasoning in those two refs and the summary on the Justice League Universe page. Check the summary. I knew I'd have to do it all at once because there are so many pages using the incorrect term "DC Extended Universe". Georgina V Hobart (talk) 18:31, 30 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I'm going to use rollback on a series of your changes because it's a lot more work to revert them without rollback. The use of rollback does not mean that I consider the edits to be vandalism. If there is consensus for a move later then there are tools to change the links quickly. For now it's best to consistently use the same name. PrimeHunter (talk) 19:08, 30 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The First Chapter

[edit]

Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Episodes 1 and 2 (Inhumans).

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. The IMAX release does not have an official release name. Favre1fan93 (talk) 18:29, 30 September 2017 (UTC) & @ 04:15, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Episodes 1 and 2 (Inhumans). Seriously. Cut it out. You've been told numerous times now that "The First Chapter" is not an official name for these episodes, and have been directed to various talk page discussions at Talk:Inhumans (TV series) where this has been discussed. Previous comment deleted

[edit]

Hi. I had made my earlier comment based on your edits, but now I see that these are not widely accepted and are being challenged, so I have withdrawn that earlier comment. So please ignore. Rui ''Gabriel'' Correia (talk) 11:04, 1 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I specifically said you should ignore my earlier edit. What part of that is so difficult to understand? I wrote it on the assumption that you were an established editor who kew the rules and before seeing that your edits were being challenged. I then immediately deleted that comment and left you a note in its place for you to ignore the earlier one because I knew that you would go and see what it was and would most likely respond — as you did. So, do as you have been asked and discuss the matter on the talk page. Rui ''Gabriel'' Correia (talk) 11:32, 1 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on List of Marvel Cinematic Universe films. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. TriiipleThreat (talk) 22:01, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
